God is certainly blessing here at the Northern California Teen Camp at Camp Alta in Alta, CA. This is my 9th year preaching at this camp. We have already seen young people saved and many decisions. I will be updating our blog page with the past few weeks of meetings. I do not have the memory card with those pics on them and will not be back in NC for 2 weeks. I will be flying to Salt Lake City UT this Sat to be at the Faith Baptist Church in Layton, UT with Pastor Chuck Beickel. Please pray that will bless the last few days of camp and next week also. We had such a great meeting with Pastor and Mrs. War at the Freedom Independent Baptist Church in Jacksonville. This was their 3rd anniversary of the church being planted. We had great crowds, decisions every night, and many visitors. God is using the War's in a great way. On Sunday, we heard testimonies from many that have been saved these 3 years. It was such a blessing. We will be heading to Waldorf, MD this coming weekend to be at the Cross County Baptist Church. Please keep us in your prayers. Daniel H

We are finishing our revival tonight at the Faith Baptist Church in Kilgore, TX. The fine pastor is Scott Thomas and his precious wife Becky. What a great church. God has done great things in the few months that Scott and Becky have been there. God has blessed Faith with great people, and I have so enjoyed getting to know them. I have posted a pic of Pastor and Mrs. Thomas, and also a pic from downtown Kilgore. You can see the many oil "derreks" in the downtown. At one time years ago, more oil was coming from these derreks than anywhere else. They still have many oil pumps around town that are stil busy pumping. We will be with Pastor Chris War next week near Jacksonville, FL. Please pray that God will give us a great meeting. Daniel H

I am sitting here at the Raleigh airport. I am on my way to Texas. We were in Florida this past Sunday. We preached for Pastor Andy Bloom on Sunday morning in Ocala, FL; and we preached for Pastor Mike West in Belleview FL on Sunday night. We only remembered our camera on Sunday night so I have posted a pic od us with Pasor and Mrs. West. We had great services and God seemed to bless. Please pray for me as I will be away from my family for a week. I miss them already. Also pray that I do not get the swine flu. I will be preaching for Pastor Scott Thomas. This is his first revival since he and his wife Becky started pastoring there. Pray that God will bless. Daniel Hawtree

Greetings to everyone. I hope you had a great Easter. We had great services under the tent at Kerwin Baptist Church yesterday. We had a great crowd, people saved, many decisions, and a great spirit. We had a great meeting at the Victory Baptist Church in Lavonia, GA. I have known Pastor Ron Certian for many years, and yet have not seen him or his family for years. I went to high school with his 3 children. One of the pics is of his daughter Valerie. She and her family sang some great songs during our services. God is greatly using Pastor Certian who has only been there since October. We have already scheduled to be there again next March. Pray for us as we will be preaching at the Kerwin Baptist Church in Kernersville, NC this Easter Sunday for Pastor Joe Myers. We are excited. We have April the 19th open. We just finished our revival at the Morrison Baptist Church in Barney, GA. We had a wonderful meeting, and enjoyed renewed fellowship with Pastor and Mrs. Rodgers. I had preached for them in Woodbridge, VA some years back and it was good to see them. We also got to see Pastor Gene Wiseheart from Faith Baptist Church in Valdosta, GA. I had not seen him sice I was a child and it is encouraging to see men like that that have been faithful in the same place for all these years. I have posted pics of the Rodgers and Pastor Wiseheart. I just wanted to share that when leaving GA Tuesday night after the service, we were driving in extreme storm conditions. I lost control of our vehicle on interstate 75 just noth of Lake City, FL. We began to spin out of control, then went over an embankment and into a fence. I could not describe how dangerous it was. I had Julie and our young baby Hudson in the car. I do not know how we did not flip or did not hit a tree but God miraculously protected us. I give Him glory for sparing my family and our vehicle. We had to get towed out but sufferd minor damage to our vehicle. Praise the Lord. Please keep us in your prayers and please pray that God will somehow provide a motorhome/traveltrailer for us as we travel. God bless, Daniel H

Greetings in Jesus' name. We just finished our revival at the Lighthouse Baptist Church in Brunswick, GA. What a great meeting we had. The pastor there is David Hudson and his precious wife Susan. They have 4 great kids which my son Daniel absolutely fell in love with. Pastor Hudson started Lighthouse Baptist 9 years ago and has built it from the ground up. What an accomplishment. God has truly blessed their ministry. David, if you are reading, I love you in the Lord and consider you a close friend. I believe I could call you if I ever needed anything, and I hope you know that you can always call me. We will be starting revival in Barney, GA with Pastor Tom Rodgers, this comong Saturday night. We will be there through Tuesday night. I hope you enjoy the pics of Pastor Hudson and his family. God bless, Daniel Hawtree

Welcome to our updated site. We will have all new pictures in a day or two. Please check them out. My family and I are heading to Brunswick, GA tomorrow. Pastor David Hudson and I graduated together from college. This is our first time to be there and we are excited. We will be in GA for the next 3 weeks. Hopefully it will be warm. We have had great meetings lately with folks saved and lots of decisions. Please keep us in your prayers. God Bless!
